In the 30th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 7, Peshawar Zalmi defeated Lahore Qalandars in a super over after an interesting contest.

 In the match played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Zalmai's captain Wahab Riaz won the toss and elected to bat first.

 Peshawar Zalmi scored 158 runs for the loss of 7 wickets while Lahore Qalandars scored 158 runs for the loss of 8 wickets.

 Shaheen Afridi tied the match with a six off the last ball of the last over and the match entered the Super Over.

 Earlier, Peshawar Zalmi scored 158 runs while playing first, Shoaib Malik scored 32 and Haider Ali scored 25 runs.
 

 Apart from them, Hazratullah Zazai scored 20, Kamran Akmal 18 and Hussain Talat 17 runs, Muhammad Haris 6 and captain Wahab Riaz scored one run.

 For Lahore Qalandars, Fawad Ahmed took two wickets while Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf and Muhammad Hafeez took one wicket each.

 

 In reply to the target of 159 runs, Lahore Qalandars scored 158 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. Muhammad Hafeez scored 49, Shaheen Afridi 39, Kamran Ghulam 25 and Sohail Akhtar 19 runs.

 7 runs were needed to win the last ball of the last over, in which Shaheen Afridi equalized the match by hitting six and the match entered the super over.

 Playing first in the super over, Lahore Qalandar gave Zalmi a target of 6 runs to win which Zalmi completed on the second ball of the over.
