In the 28th match of Pakistan Super League 7, Quetta Gladiators defeated Karachi Kings by 23 runs.
In the match played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Quetta Gladiators decided to bat first after winning the toss and gave Karachi a target of 167 runs for the victory. In reply, Karachi team scored 143 runs for the loss of 8 wickets.
Quetta Gladiators innings:
Quetta Gladiators scored 166 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs in which opener Jason Roy scored 82 runs off 64 balls.
Will Smith scored 10, James Owens 29, middle order batsman Umar Akmal 2, Iftikhar Ahmed 21 and Hassan Khan 3.
Quetta Gladiators had included Pakistan under-19 player Muhammad Shehzad in their squad in place of Australian cricketer James Faulkner who resigned from the league.
For Karachi, Emad Wasim, Mir Hamza, Usman Shinwari and Lewis Gregory took one wicket each.

In pursuit of the target of 167 runs, Karachi Kings scored 143 runs for the loss of 8 wickets.
