Leading Indian actress Bhavana Menon, has broken her silence over a sexual assault on herself five years later.

In an interview, Bhawana Menon, a well-known actress in the South Indian film industry, spoke openly about her sexual assault and expressed her feelings.
Bhavana Menon said that I was a normal loving girl but this incident changed my life. People see my smiling pictures on social media but I know that I have come back from hell.
The actress said that for a long time I kept trying to forget this incident, but when the trial started in 2020, I had to give evidence in court for 15 days and the opposing lawyers asked me all kinds of questions, I proved them before them. I was supposed to be innocent and wronged.
Bhawana said that my honor was shattered, it was a very difficult time, I had the support of a large number of friends, loved ones and fans but I felt lonely, maybe because of my willpower at that time I stood still and Confronted the situation.
Actress Bhawana Menon is thought to have been abducted in 2017 while returning home from a shootout in the Indian state of Kerala. She was allegedly sexually assaulted after the abduction.
The incident came to prominence when the main accused in the kidnapping revealed after his arrest that actor Dilip was behind the operation.
It is believed that Malayalam film actor Dilip has worked with Bhavana in several films, he was arrested after the main accused's statement and after 3 months in jail he is now out on bail.
