ISLAMABAD: The 5th International Pakistan Army Team Spirit Competition 2022 has come to an end. Multan Corps has been declared the winner of the competition and Rawalpindi Corps has secured the second position. Nepal, Turkey and Uzbekistan won gold medals in international teams.

According to ISPR, the closing ceremony of the 5th International Pakistan Army Team Spirit Competition 2022 was held at National Counter Terrorism Center Pubi. Inspector General Training and Evaluation Lieutenant General Syed Muhammad Adnan was the special guest on the occasion. Teams participated while eight international teams including Jordan, Morocco, Nepal, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Kenya, Saudi Arabia and Sri Lanka also participated.

 

The special guest distributed prizes and medals among the participants of the competition. Multan Corps won the competition while Rawalpindi Corps took second place. 

 

Gold medals were won by Nepal, Turkey and Uzbekistan in international teams. Silver medals were won by Kenya, Morocco and Sri Lanka won while Jordan and Saudi Arabia won bronze medals.

 

 The closing ceremony was attended by Saudi Arabian Ambassador Nawaf Saeed Al-Maliki, Morocco's Ambassador to Pakistan Mohammed Carmon, observers and defense attachs from the participating countries. 

 

The competition lasted for 60 hours from March 7 to 9. The competition included various events in a very difficult environment during which the teams' physical endurance, mental agility and tactical skills were reviewed.
