American-born Bollywood actress Nargis Fakhri, daughter of a Pakistani father, has said that in the past, when she was very thin, people advised her to gain weight and when she gained a little weight, people claimed that she was pregnant.

Born and raised in the United States by her Pakistani father, Nargis Fakhri started her modeling career at the age of 16 and in 2011 she turned to the Indian film industry.
