The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) held rallies in several cities across the country on Sunday to protest against the removal of former prime minister and party chairman Imran Khan following a successful no-confidence motion against him.

PTI chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan had tweeted that today was the day of the beginning of a 'liberation struggle', the day of liberation from slavery which he termed 'change of government as a foreign conspiracy'.

PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry, while talking to media in Islamabad yesterday, had appealed to the people to protest after Isha prayers.
