Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Rameez Raja has hinted that the one-day series scheduled against the West Indies in June could be played without restrictions on Code-19, including the biosecure bubble.
In an exclusive video statement to Dawn, the PCB chairman said the matches could be played under normal circumstances, but acknowledged that there were concerns about taking action.

Rameez Raja said that the medical board of PCB is looking into the matter from different angles.
"The only problem with this decision is that if even one player gets infected with the code, then the virus spreads rapidly, then it will not be possible to call in a substitute player from such a distance," he said.
"It's a double-edged sword," he said.
"The information we are receiving from our medical board shows that things are now satisfactory and the virus is no longer dangerous," the PCB chairman said.
The statement from Rameez Raja came at a time when three players of the visiting Australian team had contracted the virus in the recent series.
The Australian team came to visit Pakistan after 24 years and returned after completing their tour yesterday, which included 3 Tests, 3 ODI and a T20 match.

It may be recalled that the one-day series between West Indies and Pakistan was scheduled in December last year but the team left the tour incomplete after being diagnosed with Corona virus in 5 members including 3 players of the visiting team.
The West Indies had earlier completed a series of 3 T20 matches.
The West Indies team, which was on a tour of Pakistan, had left the tour incomplete due to fears of more players being diagnosed with the corona virus.
The PCB announced last month that the West Indies team would arrive in Pakistan on June 5 for a three-match one-day series.
The one-day series will be played in Rawalpindi on June 8, 10 and 12, the statement said.
