He said that whether we call it Establishment or Army but we have excellent relations with the government, there are no differences, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has had a very good and respectful relationship with former Prime Minister Imran Khan.

He said that what happened in the last few days was part of a political process, these things happen in a democracy but in the meanwhile instability did come. Indicates that stability is coming to some extent, it will take some time to maintain.

"Armed forces and agencies are always ready to deal with the situation."

Initiating the press briefing, the DG ISPR said that today you have to be informed about the national security of Pakistan, professional activities of Pakistan Army, recent developments under Operation Redalfsad and formation of Commanders Conference. There is also a need to communicate.

He said that two days ago a Formation Corps Commander Conference was held under the chairmanship of the Chief of Army Staff and all the formation commanders of Pakistan Army participated in it. Security and intelligence briefings were given on the security challenges faced in the context while strategies devised to deal with these challenges were also briefed.

He said that the border security of Pakistan Army was fully maintained and the Armed Forces and related agencies were always ready to deal with any situation.

Maj. Gen. Babar Iftikhar said that the formation commander briefing briefed on intelligence-led operations under Operation Redalfsad and management of western borders. We tried our best but our brave officers and men thwarted these nefarious intentions.

"The war on terror will continue till the last terrorist is eliminated."

Declared step.

Asked about attacks on security forces and talks with the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), he said: "No such talks are taking place now. We are taking action against them and we have done them a great disservice." In the tribal areas, we have severely damaged their capabilities, for which our officers have made great sacrifices and inshallah we will not allow them to succeed.

"Attempts to divide the armed forces and the people are against the national interest."

He said that all agreed that democracy, strengthening of institutions, rule of law and functioning of all institutions within the ambit of constitution is the guarantee of the best national interest and public support is the source of strength of the armed forces. Without it, the concept of national security is meaningless, so any deliberate or unintentional attempt to create a rift between the armed forces and the people is against the wider national interest.

He said that constructive criticism was appropriate but fabricating conspiracies on the basis of rumors and baseless misconduct was not acceptable in this regard. Is going on and even using deep fake technology is spreading division and chaos in the society between the people and the army.

In response to a question, he said that while the position of the military leadership was given in full in the meeting of the National Security Committee and then a statement was issued in this meeting, he could not discuss what was discussed in the meeting. Because it is a matter of privacy, if you look at the declaration of this meeting, what was decided in this meeting is contained in this declaration.

"Our intelligence agencies are vigilant day and night against such threats and conspiracies and are working against it. If anyone tries to conspire against Pakistan, we will not allow it to succeed," he said. If he looks at Pakistan with a dirty eye, his eye will be taken out.

The DG ISPR said that the statement clearly stated what was or was not, I do not think the word 'conspiracy' is present anywhere in the statement. A day or two ago, the Prime Minister said that he would convene a meeting of the Parliamentary Security Committee and the Chief of the Armed Forces would also attend this meeting and give the same 'input'.

Asked about the demarcation given despite the fact that there was no conspiracy in the letter, he said that demarcations are given, demarcations are not given only on conspiracy, there are many reasons, such as the statement of the National Security Committee that non-diplomatic. Language used.

He said the statement stated that the talks were "tantamount to interference" and therefore "demarcated". Demarcated.

It may be recalled that during a meeting in Islamabad on March 27, Prime Minister Imran Khan had claimed that the opposition's no-confidence motion against him was the result of a "foreign conspiracy" to remove him from power due to his foreign policy. Funds are being sent from abroad.

Later, the 37th meeting of the National Security Committee (NSC) chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan was held at the Prime Minister House.

In a statement issued after the meeting, the NSC said that the post was tantamount to open interference in Pakistan internal affairs by the said country which is unacceptable. The process will continue.

According to the statement, the National Security Committee expressed grave concern over the letter and termed the language used by the foreign official as non-diplomatic.

Addressing a rally in Peshawar yesterday, former Prime Minister Imran Khan had said that he wanted to ask the institutions if they were putting Pakistan security in the hands of these looters. can.

"There is no threat to nuclear assets."

On Imran Khan statement on nuclear facilities and assets, the DG ISPR said that we should be a little more cautious about nuclear assets, they are not linked to any one political leadership since Pakistan's nuclear program started. All the governments that have come forward have carried out this nuclear program with utmost diligence, honesty and loyalty to the country and brought it to where we are, then it belongs to no one and our political leadership has fully supported the integrity of Pakistan. Has taken this program forward.

"There is no threat to our nuclear assets and we should not make it part of our political discourse," he said.

In response to another question, Maj. Gen. Babar Iftikhar said that the word "neutral" may not accurately define the position of the military and its institutions. All the political parties have been making the same demand from the army that the army has nothing to do with politics, now we have put it into practice.

He said that Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa had also told the political leadership that we want to keep ourselves away from politics. This was also said in a meeting on Gilgit-Baltistan in the presence of all the political leadership and if someone had said that you interfere in politics then the Army Chief had said that we are far away from politics, don't drag us into it any more. ۔

"We have nothing to do with politics. In the last by-election, no one accused the army of interfering. In the local body elections, no one accused. There were or phone calls were coming, someone is saying today, this is a very good decision and will continue to be so.

The DG ISPR said that the former prime minister had taken him into confidence before his visit to Russia. It was unthinkable that the day the Prime Minister was there, he would start the war, which was a great embarrassment.

3 options were not put before Imran Khan by Establishment

Asked about the three options placed before former Prime Minister Imran Khan, he said that those options were not put by the Establishment, the Chief of Army Staff was approached by the Prime Minister's Office that in this deadlock. Talk about rubbing salt in my wounds - d'oh!

He said that it was unfortunate that the leadership of our political parties was not ready to talk to each other at that time. Yes, one of them was a no-confidence motion, the other was the resignation of the Prime Minister and the third option was for the opposition to withdraw the no-confidence motion and dissolve the Prime Minister's Assemblies and go for new elections.

He said that we took the third option to the then opposition PDM, put this request before them and after a thorough discussion on it, he said that we will not take any such step now and We will carry out our plan but no option was given and kept by the Establishment.

"It's a free atmosphere in which whoever has a heart says'

Asked about the PTI rallies and the holding of elections, he said that the decision regarding holding of elections is to be taken by the government. Rallies are a democratic right. Earlier, rallies and meetings were impossible due to security concerns but Sex agencies have provided this environment by risking their lives, it is a free atmosphere in which whatever the heart says, whatever comes to the heart and tongue speaks whether it is good or bad, in this place We have worked hard and made sacrifices to reach it.

He said that it is a part of democracy that people come to the streets and express their views or express their love to someone, there is nothing wrong with that, where to go next, what to do when the election. All this has to be decided by the political parties, it is not our job.

Major General Babar Iftikhar said that we cannot decide with which government we should be right and with whom we should not be right, this is not a choice, government is elected in Pakistan, people are their elected representatives. We send to the parliament and the parliament is the source of power of the people, it is the responsibility of the parliament to tell us what to do and we will do the same, as an institution we can give our opinion on national security issues They are not bound to believe and should not be.

"Politicians have to decide which path to take, no one has the power to force them to choose another path, they have mandate and moral authority and moral authority does not belong to any other authority," he said. Is stronger than

Asked about the torture of a Pakistan Army officer in Lahore, he said: "This is a very sad incident. I will not point a finger at anyone but those who have done this have been arrested and will be dealt with according to law." The Pakistan Army never leaves its officers alone. Those who have done this are very wrong. We need to take the society out of the violent elements. Bullying and bullying will not go away anymore. They are now in custody and will receive the punishment they deserve.

To a question, the Pakistan Army spokesman said that National Security Adviser Dr. Moeed Yousuf worked very hard and re-established the National Security Committee. I will not comment.

Asked about relations with India and the United States, he said that in response to the Army Chief's speech at the National Security Dialogue, it was important to understand that what the Chief of Army Staff said there was a reflection of Pakistan's foreign policy. There were no contradictions. The statement issued after the visit of former Prime Minister Imran Khan to Russia had the same words. Our military-to-military relations with all these countries are very good.
