Pakistani bowler Hassan Ali has won the Hilton Player of the Month award for his outstanding performance in the ongoing County Championship 2022.

Hassan Ali is representing Lancashire County Cricket Club in the championship.
"Hassan Ali has been named the Hilton Player of the Month for April," Lancashire Cricket said in a tweet on its social networking site.
Hassan Ali struck out 20 players in three matches with an economy of 2.45.
Speaking on the YouTube channel The Red Rose Review, Hassan Ali said: "This is a great start to the team county championship. We have won two of the three matches. But I'm glad it's a good individual performance. "

He said that there is a difference between flat pitches of Pakistan and flat pitches here while the weather here is also helpful, sometimes the sun appears which helps in reverse swing.
"I'm playing county cricket for the first time so I was a little nervous. It's an honor and a great opportunity for me. The atmosphere in the dressing room, including the team management and the other players, is great," he said. This is my second home.
Hassan Ali said that there are four to five international players in each team due to which the quality of cricket is very high and it is fun to play cricket.
Referring to the best spell in Test cricket, he said that in my view the best spell was against South Africa in Rawalpindi as I was backing less after 20 months, in this match I took 5.5 wickets in both innings. We won that match and I was named Man of the Match.
