The story of the Hindi version of 'Archie' is derived from a comic book of the same name and a TV series has been made on it in the United States, which gained worldwide fame.

The characters of 'Archie' are young and young and its story also revolves around young men who are involved in the problems of old age. The Hindi version of the film was directed by Zoya Akhtar who is the daughter of filmmaker Javed Akhtar.
