According to the Spokesman Civil Aviation Authority Saifullah Khan, the flight of Indian airline 'Indigo' was diverted to Karachi due to technical reasons while traveling from Sharjah to Hyderabad.
According to the spokesperson of the Civil Aviation Authority, the plane landed safely at Jinnah International Airport at 2:14 PM after the permission from the ATC.

According to Saifullah Khan, after the permission of AT Direct, the alternate plane will depart from Ahmedabad to Karachi to pick up the passengers.
On the other hand, IndiGo said in a statement that the airline's flight E6-1406, which was going from Sharjah to Hyderabad, was diverted to Karachi.
The statement further stated that the pilot of the flight noticed a technical fault in the aircraft, during which necessary procedures were adopted and the aircraft was diverted towards Karachi as a precaution.
The company says that an additional flight is being dispatched to Karachi to take the passengers to Hyderabad while the landing aircraft is currently being inspected at the Karachi airport.
