Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan has said that the people are sending a message to the institutions that save the country from these thieves so that the game does not get out of hand.



Addressing a rally against inflation in Islamabad, Imran Khan said, "I decided not to hold a sit-in on the morning of May 26 because there was going to be chaos that evening. My nation had to stand in front of the police and Rangers." ۔


Imran Khan said that today the whole nation should see not only here but also in Peshawar, Lahore 4 places, Karachi and Multan people have gathered and our nation is out in Pakistan and giving a message to the institutions that there is still time. Save the country from these thieves so that we do not lose the game, even if we want to, we will not be able to stop it.


Preparations for the rally at Islamabad Parade Ground are complete

Earlier, the PTI had completed preparations for a protest rally at the Parade Ground in Islamabad against inflation, political instability, rampant load shedding and increase in prices of petroleum products.


Chairman PTI Imran Khan had announced the protest last week and said that citizens belonging to Islamabad and Rawalpindi would participate in the protest while people in other major cities of the country would protest.

PTI Secretary General Asad Umar had said in a statement on social networking site Twitter that he was waiting for Imran Khan to arrive and would lead the rally from Rawalpindi.


He also released a photo with party leader Amir Mahmood Kayani and Awami Muslim League (N) chief Sheikh Rashid.


Imran Khan's meeting is against him, Ahsan Iqbal


Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal said on Twitter that "Imran Khan's rally is against himself because today Malik is serving the sentence of incompetent and corrupt government of Imran".


"Gas deals have not been done on time, which has led to the closure of power plants, left the legacy of the worst inflation by entangling the economy in debts and deficits. Don't hold a meeting, apologize to the nation," he said.


Earlier, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah had said that new and fresh tear gas would be fired against PTI supporters if needed today and asked the participants not to create such a situation.

To a question, he said that Imran Khan should fix his affairs and avoid spreading insurgency and instability in the country.


Rana Sanaullah told Imran Khan that he should do peaceful and national politics.


Stressing on the need for political consensus in the country, he said, "All the political parties in the country are on one side at the moment and are trying to resolve the ongoing crisis while Imran Khan is rude to everyone and They are doing politics of hatred.
