On Tuesday, millions of people in the UAE returned to work after the Eid Al Adha vacation.
The employees in the public and private sectors were given a long weekend to commemorate the religious festival, also known as the ‘feast of sacrifice’.

However, many people will already be planning their next potential break as office chores resume.
When is the next UAE public holiday?
It is unlikely that employees will benefit from a day off this month because the Islamic New Year will start on July 30, i.e. Saturday, at the end of the month.
According to UAE BARQ, the next observation won't happen for over two months. The birthday of the Prophet Mohammed is observed on October 8, but a long weekend is unlikely because it falls on a Saturday.
How many UAE public holidays are left in 2022?
The next likely long weekend off for many people will be Commemoration Day and National Day in December.
Commemoration Day will be marked on November 30 and the UAE National Day will be observed on December 2.
The official days off for these occasions are Thursday, December 1, until Sunday, December 4.
