The government approved the immediate distribution of Rs 25 thousand to 4.125 lakh families affected by the recent rains and floods, which will put an additional financial burden of Rs 103 billion on the national exchequer, while ordering the import of 1.6 lakh tonnes of wheat. has been given to meet the needs arising out of natural calamities.

Instruct TCP to arrange wheat

The Ministry of National Food, Conservation and Research has advocated that to ensure abundant availability of wheat across the country and to stabilize local wheat prices, it is necessary to increase the amount of strategic wheat reserves to the level of 2 million tonnes. To be maintained.
