Israel carried out airstrikes in Gaza on Friday, as a result of which 15 people were killed. During the operation, smoke spread from a building in Gaza City, but the injured were transferred for medical assistance.

The Ministry of Health of Gaza said that a 5-year-old girl was among the 9 people killed during the Israeli operation and 55 Palestinians were injured.
Five-year-old Ala Qadoum had her hair tied in a pretty flowery ponytail and a gash on her forehead as her body was carried away by her father for burial.
The statement issued by the Foreign Office said that Israel's latest wave of conventional aggression is a complete violation of international human rights and humanitarian law, a continuation of decades of atrocities against innocent Palestinians, illegal actions and indiscriminate use of force.
The Foreign Office has called on the international community to urge Israel to immediately end its reckless use of force and flagrant violations of the human rights of the Palestinian people.
The statement said that an immediate halt to Israel's aggression is imperative.
"We reiterate our position that, in accordance with UN and Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) resolutions, we renew our call for a viable, sovereign and contiguous Palestinian state along pre-1967 borders," the Foreign Office said. And its capital is al-Quds al-Sharif, which is the only, comprehensive and lasting solution to the Palestinian problem.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif termed the targeting of Ala Qudum as Israeli terrorism.

In a statement on the social networking website Twitter, the Prime Minister said that "the martyrdom of 10 Palestinians, including a 5-year-old girl, is the latest act of terrorism by Israel."
He said that 'if there was any form of impunity and brutality, it would be Israel, which targeted the Palestinians without regard to any consequences'.
The Prime Minister said that "Pakistan strongly condemns the Israeli attacks".
Recall that Israel said yesterday that it carried out an attack against Islamic Jihad that killed its commander, who was accused of involvement in recent attacks inside Israel.
Islamic Jihad said the Israeli bombing was tantamount to a 'declaration of war' and retaliated with more than 100 rocket attacks against Israel a few hours later.
There were no immediate reports of casualties inside Israel as officials in the country's commercial capital, Tel Aviv, said they were opening bomb shelters in the city.
