An application has been filed in the police to file a case against the producer of the recently released film 'Lal Singh Chadha' and hero Bollywood Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan.
According to the Indian newspaper 'Hindustan Times', a petition has been filed in the Mumbai Police Commissioner's Office by a lawyer named Vineet Jindal against Aamir Khan, director Ajit Advot and the film's production company Paramount for hurting the sentiments of the Indian Army and Hindus. A case should be filed.
According to the report, the petition given to the police has requested that the film team and Aamir Khan be booked under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) for creating mischief, inciting hatred among people of different faiths, public disorder. A case should be filed on the charges of spreading and hurting the religious sentiments of the people.
In the petition filed by the lawyer, a position has been taken that Aamir Khan has not only insulted the Indian Army in the film but has also hurt the sentiments of Hindus.
Describing the scenes of 'Lal Singh Chadha', the petition states that the film shows mentally challenged people being recruited into the Indian Army and sent to Kargil for war.

It has been argued in the petition that it is a well-known fact that mentally and physically healthy people were recruited in the Indian Army and sent to fight in Kargil.
The petition states that in a scene from the film, Kargil, Aamir Khan is told by a Pakistani Muslim soldier to pray and advises him to pray too, to which Aamir Khan says that his mother She has been telling them that Pooja Path items are diseases.
According to the petition, Aamir Khan hurt the sentiments of Hindus in the film and called Pooja Path a disease, while showing a man suffering from mental problems as an Indian army soldier has also insulted the army.
The police did not immediately react to the lawyer's request, as people across India have already started protests against Aamir Khan on the same film based on his old interview.
Recently, a 2015 video clip of Aamir Khan went viral, in which he was seen saying that his wife had been telling him to leave India and move abroad.
1300 shows of Aamir Khan's film were also canceled due to protests against his film over an old video clip.
'Lal Singh Chadha' was released on 11 August across India and collected 10-12 crores on the first day.
'Lal Singh Chadha' is the Hindi remake of the 1994 Hollywood classic 'Forrest Gump', starring Tom Hanks in the lead role.
Aamir Khan plays the role of Tom Hanks in 'Lal Singh Chadha' while Kareena Kapoor plays the role of his love interest.
Interestingly, the role of Aamir Khan's mother in this film is played by actress Mona Singh, who is 17 years younger than him.
