Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced to hold Jalsa on August 13 at Hockey Ground in Lahore instead of Parade Ground in Islamabad.
PTI's focal person Azhar Mashwani said in his statement on Twitter that the decision to hold a meeting in Lahore on August 13 was taken in a meeting presided over by Chairman Imran Khan.

He said that on the night of August 13 and 14, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and the proud Pakistanis of Lahore will celebrate the 75th Independence Day in a grand manner at the Hockey Stadium in Lahore.
He said that former Prime Minister Imran Khan will specially attend and address the rally in Lahore.
On the other hand, while giving a press conference at Bani Gala, PTI leader Umar Ayub Khan said that the final venue of Imran Khan's rally on August 13 will be at the hockey stadium in Lahore.
He said that the main reason for this decision is that here we wanted to hold a rally at the Cricket Stadium Rawalpindi and when some of our members went there, we found that the curators had come to the pitch and international players were also coming and they suggested. Asked whether it is not appropriate to hold a meeting.
"After that we visited Liaquat Bagh where trees have been planted, which hides the place and then buildings have been built," Umar Ayub said.
He said that last time also we got permission for the meeting at the parade ground Islamabad on time and now it was found that maybe Tehreek Labeek wanted to come here, so the problem of permission was being created.

He said that this is why we thought that the best place is Lahore and here the party chairman Imran Khan will present his next plan of action and people will also come in droves to celebrate the 75th Independence Day.
Earlier, in a press conference in Faisalabad, Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah had said that they should hold a rally or protest in Liaquat Bagh or two places in Islamabad, Parade Ground and F9, which have been formally permitted by the Islamabad High Court. What is allocated?
He said that if both of them want to hold a rally or protest in these places, they should do so, but for that, the rules will have to be signed and followed and within the framework of the constitution and the law, TLP, PT I or any other protest should be done.
He had said that both the High Court and the Supreme Court have orders against blocking roads and harassing citizens in chowks and the government is also determined that no such activity will be allowed.
It should be remembered that two days ago, PTI had announced a rally in Islamabad on August 13 and said that PTI will demonstrate full public power on August 13 at Islamabad Parade Ground.
In a statement issued by PTI's Twitter account, it was said that "PTI will demonstrate full public power on August 13 at the Islamabad Parade Ground, workers will also celebrate August 14 at the Jalsa Gah".
