Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has banned all TV channels from broadcasting live speeches of former Prime Minister and Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan.
The notification issued by PEMRA states that 'Imran Khan speech has been banned under Section 27 of PEMRA Ordinance 2002'.
In the notification, referring to Imran Khan's speech at F-Nine Park Islamabad last night, it is said that Imran Khan is constantly making baseless allegations against state institutions, his statements against state institutions and officers are in violation of Article 19. There are also violations.
In the notification, all TV channels have been directed not to telecast Imran Khan's speeches and addresses live, however, his recorded speech can be telecast.
The notification clarified that Imran Khan's recorded speech can also be shown under the time delay mechanism to ensure monitoring and editorial control of these speeches.

It should be noted that while addressing a public gathering at F-Nine Park Islamabad last night, Imran Khan had warned the judiciary for its 'biased behavior' with his party and warned them to be ready for the consequences.
Despite the implementation of Section 144 of CrPC and Section 16 of MPO in the federal capital, a large number of participants came out to participate in the rally under the leadership of Imran Khan.
PTI's rally started from zero point and reached F Nine Park where the party leadership and their ally former minister Sheikh Rasheed also addressed the participants.
Addressing the rally held to express solidarity with Dr. Shahbaz Gul, Imran Khan said that "Shahbaz Gul was picked up as if he were a big traitor, IG, DIG of Islamabad we did not Leaving, we will file a case against you'.

Addressing the lady magistrate, he further said that 'You knew that Shahbaz Gill had been wronged and yet you did not grant him bail, Magistrate Zeba, get ready, we will take action against you too'. .
He said that we have started to file a case against him, if a case can be filed against Gul, then we have started to file a case against all Fazlur Rehman, Nawaz Sharif and Rana Sanaullah.
He said that what he did with Gill, he flouted the supremacy of law, today he has met his lawyers, IG, DIG and the remanding woman magistrate will file a case.
After Imran Khan's speech, PEMRA banned all satellite TV channels from live telecasting of PTI chief's speeches.

Although the notification has not yet been posted on Pemra's official Twitter account, a senior government official has confirmed the notification, according to a Dawn newspaper report.
Meanwhile, Muslim League (N), PPP, MQM (Pakistan) and JUI (F) demanded the judiciary to take action against Imran Khan and his associates for threatening a woman judge and threatening police officers. Take legal action.
