Quetta, the capital of Balochistan, has been practically cut off from other parts of the country due to the non-repair of the city's main railway line and highway damaged by rain.
According to the report of Dawn newspaper, the railway service was suspended due to the inundation of the track on Monday, the traffic on the Quetta-Karachi national highway has also been suspended for 4 days while the water is still flowing on the highway.
Speaking to Dawn, Sabi Deputy Commissioner Mansoor Qazi denied reports that the track had been washed away at several places.

He clarified that the track has been flooded, efforts are on to restore the railway service between Quetta and other parts of the country by draining the water from the area.
Mansoor Qazi said that the Quetta-Sabi-Sukhar highway has been closed due to floods.
On the other hand, the Deputy Commissioner of Bolan also urged the public to avoid traveling on the Quetta-Karachi highway as the road is yet to be opened for traffic after being damaged by floods.
During a tragic accident in Saranan area of Pashin district, 5 people participating in the wedding ceremony were swept away by the flood and died.

The deceased, including 3 women and 2 children, were traveling with other family members when they got trapped in the fast flowing water.
Another 11 people, including women and children, were rescued by other family members who were traveling in other vehicles, officials said.
Later, the rescue personnel removed the bodies of the five drowned citizens from the water.
The situation has not improved in other districts as well, while heavy rain has been going on for the last 2 days in Musa Khel, Zhob, Pashin, Qila Saifullah, Qila Abdullah, Nasirabad and Lasbela.

According to officials, hundreds of mud houses were damaged in Qila Saifullah, Muslim Bagh, Musa Khel, Kohlu, Dera Bugti and other areas.
Due to continuous rain in Musa Khel, many people were trapped due to flooding in rain-fed rivers.
Teams of other rescue agencies, including the Army, Frontier Constabulary, Levies and local administration, are busy trying to rescue people in remote areas of the district, which have been cut off from other parts of the country due to washed out roads and bridges. are disconnected.
A senior official told Dawn that the 3 missing persons who were swept away by a breach in the dam at Musakhel were found injured and shifted to a hospital for medical treatment.

A senior official of the local administration told Dawn that 12 people have so far died in various accidents during rains in Musakhel.
In Sabi district, Lahri River damaged the mud houses in Naseerabad leaving hundreds of people stranded.
Meanwhile, train service between Pakistan and Iran was restored after 11 days, the service was suspended after the Quetta-Taftan railway line was washed away at 6 places.
So far 196 people have lost their lives in the current monsoon season in the province.
More destruction in Gilgit-Baltistan
Floods continued to wreak havoc in several areas of Gilgit-Baltistan on Tuesday, with dozens of houses, bridges and roads washed away.

According to initial reports, at least 3 houses and several vehicles were swept away by the cloudburst flood in the water channel of Neelam Valley.
Saeed Qureshi, a senior official of the State Disaster Management Authority, told Dawn that the flood had occurred in the Ratigali lake, which is a popular tourist spot.
