Regarding the investigation, the statement said that "there was a violation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) by three officers, which led to the accidental firing of the missile."

In this regard, it was informed that the government immediately dismissed the three officers and its application will also be immediate.

It should be remembered that on March 9, the 'Brahmos' missile was fired, which has a nuclear capability, this missile was developed jointly by Russia and India.

Pakistan had sought an explanation from India on the incident and sought an answer from New Delhi on safe procedures to avoid accidental fire.

According to the American Arms Control Association, the BrahMos missile's target range is 300 km (186 mi) to 500 km (310 mi) and could reach Pakistan's capital, Islamabad, after being fired from India's northeastern region.

The Indian Comptroller of Affairs was summoned to the Foreign Office and informed about the deep concern of the Government of Pakistan over the ongoing statement regarding the fall of Indian missiles in Pakistan's borders.

The statement of the Foreign Office said that the Indian Minister of State was informed with deep concern over the statement of the defense wing of the Indian Press Information Bureau and the decision of the internal judicial inquiry regarding the missile that fell in the Pakistani territory on March 9.

According to the Foreign Office, the Indian Affairs Minister was asked to inform the Indian government that such serious issues cannot be resolved with such trivial clarifications by the Indian authorities.

The statement said that Pakistan expects a satisfactory response from India and questions regarding security protocols and technical measures required to prevent accidental or unauthorized missile launches in the nuclear environment. Is.

The Foreign Office had said in a statement that India's meager explanation could not clear up the issue, so there should be a joint investigation to determine the facts regarding the incident.

"The seriousness of the incident has raised a number of fundamental questions regarding security protocols and technical protocols to prevent accidental or illegal firing of a missile in a nuclear environment," the statement said.
