The booking and hosting website for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar excluded Israel and added Palestine as a state.
Middle East Monitor reports that the official website of the FIFA World Cup 2022 hosting booking website has included Palestine instead of Israel.

The report said that earlier in the list, Palestine was shown as occupied territory, but now it has been changed to Palestine.
The development is being praised on social media by supporters of Palestine, while Israeli and Zionist supporters are describing it as shameful or racist.
The report stated that Israel's media is also expressing anger over this decision, however, the non-involvement of other countries, including Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia, is being recognized as an argument.
It should be noted that Hong Kong's Winterhill Hospitality has the rights to host services for the World Cup, marking it as a subsidiary hosting company, the only company in the world to be recognized by FIFA as the World Cup host. Authorized to offer tickets and hosting packages for every match of the Qatar Cup 2022.
The company said that they can offer the services directly or through appointed sales agents as per the mandate given by FIFA.
Regarding the host of the match, the spokesperson said that Palestine has been named by our sales agent Ventrill Hospitality and is tied up with another BH Hospitality agent, the report said.
The spokesperson said that these sales agents have appointed representatives to host the match in all regions.

He said that there was a search to appoint a sales agent in Israel but it could not happen, this is not unique to Israel because many countries do not have representatives and therefore their names are not in the website.
It should be noted that Israel's name appears in FIFA's ticketing and directly on the Winter Hill Hospitality website.
Israel previously reached an agreement with FIFA in June this year to allow Israelis to participate in the tournament and enter Qatar, making it possible for the first time for Israelis to enter the country without using foreign passports. Entry will be allowed.
According to FIFA's terms, Qatar is required to treat all countries of the world equally and no country's name or flag will be removed.
Qatar was awarded the hosting of the 2022 World Cup in 2010 and the major change is that the tournament will be held in December as the previous World Cups were usually played in the months of June and July.
This season's selection for the World Cup in Qatar was said to be aimed at protecting the players from the hot Gulf weather.
The World Cup will be held in Qatar from November 21 to December 18 this year.
