Ahead of the second match against Pakistan tomorrow, the cricket board has included left-arm spinner Akshar Patel as an alternate in place of Ravindra Jadeja.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said in a statement that Ravindra Jadeja has been ruled out of the tournament due to a right knee injury while Akashraptil will soon join the team in Dubai.
