Fawad Chaudhry demanded that Interior Minister provide details of Imran Khan's security and expenses incurred on it.
On September 1, Islamabad Police IG Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan said that the government is spending Rs 24 crore annually on PTI chairman's security.
This information was provided in a meeting of the Senate Standing Committee on Interior, chaired by PTI Senator Mohsin Aziz.
During the proceedings, IG Police Nasir told the committee that apart from two private security companies, 266 personnel from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan Police, Frontier Constabulary and Rangers were deployed for Khan's security.
