Heavy rains and floods across the country have left hundreds of people homeless and an estimated 50 lakh people are suffering from various diseases, medical experts have warned that more than one billion rupees will be lost in the affected areas. Medicines are urgently needed.



According to a report published in maknews-21, a survey revealed that most relief camps have been set up by religious parties in flood-affected areas.

Sufyan Khan, managing director of the health division of Al-Khidmat Foundation, said that since the flood has caused a lot of damage, the response should also be the same.

According to the survey, 95 percent of the respondents said that setting up the relief camp is equivalent to compassion and service to humanity, while only 2 percent of the respondents said that it is their religious duty, mostly due to faulty bridges.
