Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has urged the young cadets to respect democratic institutions and not to pay attention to fake news, saying that they should sacrifice their lives to defend the territorial integrity, sovereignty and constitution of the motherland. Always be prepared.

He said that you cadets should be proud that you are about to start your career with a professionally distinguished and battle-hardened army that has excelled in both conventional and non-conventional fields. There is a long list of campaigns.

The Army Chief said that the Pakistan Army, thanks to the nation's full support and trust, has successfully turned the tide of the scourge of terrorism in the last two decades and has ensured that organized terrorism is forever rooted in Pakistan. to be overthrown, is a truly unique feat that not many countries or armies can claim.

General Javed Alaba expressed good wishes for the youths involved in the passing out parade and said that today when I review the passing out parade, I am jealous of you who are now going to walk on a path that I have followed for more than four decades, this path of duty, patriotism, selfless devotion to sacrifice that gives the honor to command the best officers and men in both peace and war.

He said that during my speech at the Royal Military Academy on August 12 this year, I highlighted the universally recognized basic and military leadership qualities which I would like to repeat here for your future guidance. Frankly speaking you can still be an officer but you cannot command and be a successful leader of men in battle so remember these guiding principles and qualities.

He said that no one is born with professional knowledge but it has to be acquired through continuous dedication and research, without which you cannot acquire professional competence which is the hallmark of successful military leadership.

He said that cadets, a challenging and exciting journey awaits you. It is both challenging and exciting. As you progress in this journey, your professional responsibilities will also increase. One needs to equip oneself with high leadership qualities which should be to provide respect and support to one's subordinates.

The army chief said that we should give peace a chance by developing a mechanism to resolve all our bilateral issues peacefully, instead of fighting each other we should collectively fight hunger, poverty, illiteracy, overpopulation, Climate change and diseases must be fought.

The Army Chief warned that the world has changed, so we have to change too, otherwise we all have to pay the price of status quo.

However, he added, "I want to highlight here that our desire for peace should not be interpreted as our weakness, let anyone know about our core interests and our collective determination to defend every inch of the motherland." There should be no misunderstanding.

The Army Chief also highlighted that in our quest for peace, we have made sincere and concerted efforts to promote good neighborly relations with all our neighbors and regional countries.

He said that we are trying our best to break the political deadlock that has prevented South Asian countries from moving forward and resolving all regional and bilateral issues in a peaceful and dignified manner.

General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that this is only possible due to sustainable economic growth, development and above all lasting peace, so we should try hard to keep the fire of war away from this region.

During his speech, the Army Chief urged the passing out cadets not to get distracted by fake news and political disputes in the country.

He said to respect the democratic institutions and always be ready to sacrifice their lives to defend the territorial integrity, sovereignty and constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

He said that you should always be alert and ready to respond and defeat all kinds of conspiracies against the country.

General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that thanks to the continuous support of its people, the armed forces will never allow any country, group or force to destabilize Pakistan politically or economically.

He said that as a leader, you must have the courage and ability to take difficult decisions and then accept full responsibility. Correct decision-making requires competence and confidence that only a high level of military education, rigorous training can provide. and can be gained from the continued study of military history.

On this occasion he quoted the words of Sir Basil Liddlehart and said that an officer who has not studied military history as a science is of no more use than a captain.

On this occasion, the Army Chief highlighted the importance of standing firm in the field and appearing brave in front of the soldiers in the most difficult situations and becoming an example through action more than words when dust is everywhere on the battlefield. When there are clouds, the officer never says go ahead, but always says follow me.
