The Islamabad High Court reserved its verdict on the PTI's plea against delaying the issuance of NOC for the protest and allowing the political rally in the federal capital.




Justice Amir Farooq of Islamabad High Court heard the petition of PTI leader Ali Nawaz Awan.

Advocate General Islamabad Barrister Jahangir Jadoon, Deputy Commissioner Islamabad and PTI lawyer Dr. Babar Awan appeared before the court.

During the hearing, Advocate General Islamabad read the decision of the Supreme Court of May 25 and the reply submitted by Imran Khan to the Supreme Court.

The Advocate General said that last time despite giving a place for the meeting and sit-in, it was encroached upon, ask him when these people will come to Islamabad, on this Justice Amir Farooq said that we will ask Dr. Babar Awan. When are they coming to Islamabad?

The court inquired that what is the procedure related to the permission of gatherings in general? Barrister Jahangir Jadoon replied that if it happened, it is assured only with the permission of the party.

Justice Amir Farooq said that whatever the lawyer speaks, he does it on behalf of the plaintiff.

It was inquired from the side of the court that the place where they had asked for permission earlier, is this the same place? To this, Barrister Jahangir Jadoon replied that they are seeking permission for the same place.

The Advocate General said that they have always violated the terms and conditions, we are not trusting them, PTI leadership refused to accept the assurance of 2 senior lawyers, we have de-choked for them. If you want to do this meeting, you can do it.

Babar Awan said that they have closed the entire city by installing containers, they have turned half of the city into a red zone.

Justice Amir Farooq inquired that you can see who will be responsible for the violation wherever there is. There is also an order of the Supreme Court, there is also a case of contempt of court going on, the appropriate order will be issued.

Babar Awan said that he does not want to speak on the matter pending in the Supreme Court, D Chowk is GT Road, which was a red zone earlier, now they have expanded it.

Justice Amir Farooq said that what happened before will not happen there. Who will take responsibility for this? To this, Babar Awan replied that Ali Nawaz Awan belongs to the party, the party will take responsibility for him.

Advocate General Barrister Jahangir Jadoon said that we cannot trust PTI Chairman until he is contacted, the affidavit should be signed by PTI Chairman, our servant will go to him.

It was said by the court that yesterday you said 6 or 7 here, then said something else, you have to be clear about the date.

Barrister Jahangir Jadoon said that now they are also saying that they will stay for 10 months, they have to give a fixed date.

Later, the Islamabad High Court, after hearing the arguments of the parties, reserved its decision on the request for permission of the PTI rally and issuance of NOC.
