In the second phase of the seventh edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL), Lahore Qalandars gave Multan Sultans a target of 183 runs to win.
In the match being played at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore, Multan Sultans captain Muhammad Rizwan won the toss and invited Lahore Qalandars to bat first.
Lahore Qalandars scored 182 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Fakhr Zaman remained prominent by scoring 60 runs.

Lahore Qalandars innings against Multan Sultans did not start well, opener Abdullah Shafiq was dismissed for just 4 runs.
After losing one wicket, Fakhr Zaman and Kamran Ghulam formed a partnership of 86 runs. However, on a total score of 91 runs, Kamran was dismissed for 42 runs.
The Qalandars suffered their third loss in the form of setter Fakhr Zaman, who returned to the pavilion with 60 off 37 balls.
In the final overs, thanks to the aggressive batting of Muhammad Hafeet and Phil Salt, the team's score reached 182 runs for 4 wickets.
Hafeez was dismissed for 43 off 29 balls while Salt remained unbeaten on 26 off 16 balls.
Anwar Ali, Shahnawaz Dhani, Abbas Afridi and Imran Tahir took one wicket each for Multan Sultans.
Lahore Qalandars are playing their first match of the PSL season at their home ground.
In terms of points table, Multan Sultans are at the top position after 6 consecutive wins while Lahore is at the third position of Fateh Smit in 3 out of 5 matches.
It should be noted that Multan Sultans had easily defeated Peshawar Zalmi by 42 runs yesterday.
