In the 19th match of the seventh season of Pakistan Super League (PSL), Peshawar Zalmi defeated Karachi Kings by 55 runs.

 

In the match played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Karachi Kings won the toss and invited Peshawar Zalmi to bat. Peshawar Zalmi scored 193 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs while playing first. He scored 138 runs for the loss of 6 wickets.

 

 

In Peshawar Zalmai's innings, Hazratullah Zazai scored 52 runs, besides Muhammad Haris scored 49, Shoaib Malik 31 and Ben Cutting 26 runs.

Chris Jordan took three wickets for Karachi Kings, while Mohammad Nabi, Qasim Akram and Ameed Asif took one wicket each.

 

 

For Karachi Kings, captain Babar Azam remained prominent by scoring 59 runs.

For Zalmai, Wahab Riaz and Salman Irshad took two wickets each while Mohammad Omar and Liam Livingston took one wicket each.

It is to be noted that this is the sixth consecutive defeat of Karachi Kings in the current PSL. The Karachi team has played 6 matches in which they could not win any of them.
