In the 12th match of Pakistan Super League 

(PSL) 2022, Lahore Qalandars defeated Islamabad United by 8 runs thanks to the brilliant last over of Zaman Khan after a thrilling contest.

 

In the 12th match of PSL played at National Stadium Karachi, Islamabad United captain Shadab Khan won the toss and elected to field first.

 

 The Lahore Qalandars openers got off to a great start once again, scoring 83 runs in 7 overs.

 Abdullah Shafiq was the first batsman to get out on the second ball of the 8th over, playing an innings of 44 off 24 balls with the help of 6 fours and a six.

 

The second batsman to be dismissed by Qalandars was Kamran Ghulam who scored just 2 runs and was caught by Monroe off Mubashir Khan off 86 balls.

Fakhr Zaman, who scored a century this season, faced 27 balls and scored 38 runs for a total of 93 runs, which was the third wicket of the Qalandars.
