In the match played at the National Stadium in Karachi, Peshawar Zalmi's captain Wahab Riaz decided to field after winning the toss against Multan Sultans.

Multan Sultans scored 222 runs for the loss of 3 wickets while playing first, Captain Muhammad Rizwan scored 82 runs off 53 balls, Tim David played an unbeaten innings of 51 runs off 19 balls.

Apart from them, Shaun Masood scored 35 and Sohaib Maqsood 25 runs and Khushdal Shah remained unbeaten on 21 off 7 balls.

For Peshawar, Salman Irshad, Shoaib Malik and Usman Qadir took one wicket each.

In reply to the target of 223 runs, Zalmai's team scored 165 runs for the loss of 8 wickets, Hazratullah Zazai scored 43 runs and Haider Ali scored 24 runs while Ben Cutting played an innings of 52 runs. Mohammad Omar (3), Wahab Riaz and Rutherford (2) were all out for 10 runs.
