Saudi Arabia army chief Fahd bin Abdullah Mohammed al-Mutair paid a historic and important first visit to India this week.
A press release from the Indian Ministry of Defense said that Lt. Gen. Fahd bin Abdullah Muhammad Al-Mutair, commander of Saudi Arabia's evil forces, arrived in India on Monday and completed his three-day historic visit on Wednesday.
The statement said that this was the first visit of a current service commander of the Royal Saudi Land Forces to India and the visit highlighted the deepening bilateral defense cooperation between the two countries aimed at further strengthening cooperation.

On the second day of his visit, the Saudi military chief met Indian Army Chief Manoj Makand Nirvana in New Delhi, where he was presented with a traditional guard of honor.
The Indian Ministry of Defense said that the two Army Chiefs later discussed important bilateral issues, during which the Indian General briefed his counterpart on various aspects of security.
The two leaders also discussed ways to further enhance bilateral defense cooperation, the Indian Army's Additional Directorate General of Public Information said in a statement.

The statement further said that relations between India and Saudi Arabia are thriving on the common interests of economic prosperity, elimination of terrorism and mitigation of the effects of climate change.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Saudi army chief said his visit was an important step in highlighting the importance of military ties.
A statement issued by the state news agency thanked his Indian counterpart for inviting him to visit India.
The statement added that the Saudi army chief also visited the Indian National Defense University during his visit.
