Virginia Robert Goffy, an American woman who had filed a lawsuit against 65-year-old Prince Andrew, the second son of the Queen, before she reached puberty, has agreed to pay a hefty sum of Rs 30 million.

Robert Goffy filed a civil lawsuit against Prince Andrew in a New York court in August 2021 for "sexual exploitation."

 

The woman claimed in the lawsuit that she was used by Jeffrey Upston for prostitution at an early age and was forced to have sex with different people.

 

The woman claimed in the lawsuit that she and Prince Andrew were forced to have 'sex' with Prince Andrew on three different occasions from 1999 to 2001 in London, New York and the Virgin Islands when she was 17 years old. The British sons knew everything about his young age.

Prince Andrew had denied all the allegations against the woman, however, realizing the nature of the matter, the prince now settled with the woman out of court.

According to the French news agency Agence France-Presse (AFP), the lawyers of Prince Andrew and Robert Goofy have submitted the documents related to the settlement in the New York court.

Documents filed by the lawyers of both the parties informed the court that an agreement has been reached between the plaintiff and the accused and both will withdraw all their petitions from the court within 30 days.

The documents submitted to the court did not disclose the amount of the settlement, but according to the British media, an agreement has been reached between the two for one million and six million US dollars.
