 Two days ago, Indian media reported that a court in Muradabad, Uttar Pradesh, had issued an arrest warrant in Sonakshi Sinha old fraud case.

However, he has now termed the news as fake and termed it as a continuation of his own harassment.

Sonakshi Sinha clarified in her Instagram story on March 8 that the news of her arrest warrant was fake and she wondered how any media house spread the news without confirming it.

The actress claimed that no court had issued an arrest warrant against her and that the person who spread the news in the media was harassing her.

Although the actress denied the news of the arrest warrant, she admitted that a case of fraud against her was pending in the Muradabad court and she could not comment further on it.

The actress said that a false case has been filed against her and her legal team is working on it while she will not answer any question of the media on the matter.

Sonakshi Sinha appealed to the media to verify the matter with journalists and media houses before spreading false news about her.

In this regard, Hindustan Times reported that Sonakshi Sinha termed the news of her arrest warrant as false and termed the media campaign as harassment against her.

The actress said that she was being harassed by a blackmailer who had extorted money from her at different times.

Sonakshi Sinha also announced to file a defamation suit against the blackmailer.

It may be recalled that a case of fraud has been filed against Sonakshi Sinha at Muradabad police station. Two cases were filed against her in 2019.

Muradabad resident Pramod Sharma has filed a fraud case against Sonakshi Sinha.

Sonakshi Sinha is accused of embezzling Rs 3.7 million in the case, which the actress and her team have been denying.

According to reports, Sonakshi Sinha was paid Rs 3.7 million by an event organizer named Pramod Sharma to perform at a function in the capital New Delhi but the actress did not attend the function.

The actress is accused of not attending the event after taking huge amount of money from the organizers and later refusing to return the money but the actress and her team have been denying such allegations.
