The actress claimed that no court had issued an arrest warrant against her and that the person who spread the news in the media was harassing her.

The actress said that a false case has been filed against her and her legal team is working on it while she will not answer any question of the media on the matter.
Sonakshi Sinha appealed to the media to verify the matter with journalists and media houses before spreading false news about her.
In this regard, Hindustan Times reported that Sonakshi Sinha termed the news of her arrest warrant as false and termed the media campaign as harassment against her.
The actress said that she was being harassed by a blackmailer who had extorted money from her at different times.
Sonakshi Sinha also announced to file a defamation suit against the blackmailer.

Sonakshi Sinha is accused of embezzling Rs 3.7 million in the case, which the actress and her team have been denying.
According to reports, Sonakshi Sinha was paid Rs 3.7 million by an event organizer named Pramod Sharma to perform at a function in the capital New Delhi but the actress did not attend the function.
The actress is accused of not attending the event after taking huge amount of money from the organizers and later refusing to return the money but the actress and her team have been denying such allegations.
