Maulana Fazlur Rehman, head of the opposition Ittehad-e-Pakistan Democratic Movement and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, and Nawaz Sharif, the former prime minister and PML-N leader in London, had a telephone conversation.
According to sources, the issue of no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister has been discussed in the telephone conversation.
Sources said that both the leaders expressed satisfaction over the number game.
Sources said that Maulana Fazlur Rehman briefed Nawaz Sharif about the progress of the opposition. The two leaders agreed to save the nation from the present government as soon as possible.
It may be recalled that the opposition had announced a no-confidence motion against the government and two days ago Maulana Fazlur Rehman had announced to bring good news to the nation in this regard within 48 hours.
