Openers Usman Khawaja and David Warner's confident batting helped Australia reach 271 for two on the third day of the Rawalpindi Test.
Australia started the innings with a score of 5 runs yesterday and Pakistani-born openers Imshan Khawaja and Wade Warner advanced their team's score.
Usman Khawaja could not complete his century with just 3 runs short and scored 97 runs and was caught by Imam-ul-Haq on the ball of Pakistani spinner Noman Ali.
Earlier, opener David Warner was also the target of spin bowling, he was bowled by spinner Sajid Khan for 68 runs while Australia started their innings with 5 runs on the third day of the game following Pakistan's first innings of 476 runs.

By the end of the first day's play, Pakistan had scored 245 runs for the loss of one wicket.
Imam-ul-Haq is unbeaten with 132 runs with 15 fours and two sixes while Azhar was also batting at 64 runs.
On the second day of the Rawalpindi Test, Pakistan declared their first innings at 476 for 4 against Australia.
