Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has visited the Combined Military Hospital Lahore (CMH) where he inquired about the well-being of Major Harris who was recently injured in a road accident and Assured that the culprits will be brought to justice.

It is to be noted that Major Harris was allegedly injured on Wednesday by the guards of PML-N MPA Khawaja Salman Rafique and Hafiz Noman.
According to the FIR lodged by his father, Major Harris was attacked on Ferozepur Road after a minor altercation when the vehicles collided.
Major Harat father had said that the accused had beaten his son with iron rods and injured him and fled the scene.
Video clips of the incident went viral on social media, showing people beating an army officer with iron rods.
In the video clips, I could see a military officer lying unconscious on the street, in the video, the suspects were seen abusing and threatening the officer.
A statement issued by the Pakistan Army Public Service Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited Lahore Garrison. Abdul Aziz received him.
According to ISPR, during his visit to Lahore, the Army Chief visited the CMH and inquired about the well-being of Major Harris, who was injured in a recent road accident.

On the occasion, the Army Chief said that the detained accused would be brought to justice. He assured that the law would take its course and no one could be allowed to take the law into his own hands.
The ISPR further said that the Army Chief later held discussions with garrison officers and ex-servicemen in two separate sessions.
General Qamar Javed Bajwa lauded the Lahore Corps for maintaining high standards of operational readiness and training.

The Army Chief said that misinformation and propaganda endangered the integrity of the state and a timely and united response was required to effectively counter speculation and rumors.
General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that the army derives its power from the people and any attempt to create misunderstandings and distances between the army and the people will not be tolerated.
The Army Chief said that the enemy forces have been trying for a long time to create misunderstandings and divisions between the Pakistan Army and the people but insha-Allah they will not succeed.
