Chairman PCB Rameez Raja had proposed to hold four national T20 tournaments including Pakistan and India.

According to Kirk Info, before Rameez Raja presentation at the ICC meeting, the cricket boards of Australia, England and West Indies have supported this proposal, while India has not directly opposed this proposal.

Rameez Raja had suggested that a new structure be formed on the basis of polling and share revenue, which would be hosted by all countries one by one. The idea was to register a company under the auspices of the ICC. He should work and a special officer should be responsible for financial affairs and this income should be distributed equally among all the countries.

In the present situation, it seems impossible to make this plan a reality because in such a case, Pakistan and India will have to play against each other on a permanent basis.

However, given the current tense situation between the two countries, it does not seem possible to hold any such series.

ICC rules also stand in the way of this idea as any tournament involving more than three ICC member countries would have the status of an ICC tournament while the rights to such tournaments would be on commercial grounds. Only the ICC can sell and the profits will be distributed to all members.

However, in view of the proposal to hold the event under the auspices of the ICC, the heads of some member states at a meeting in Dubai on Friday supported the idea.

Aware of this development, two officials said that some boards have supported the chairman PCB thinking but it is believed that this thinking does not have the unanimous support of all members.

According to sources, Pakistan as well as Cricket Australia, English Cricket Board and Cricket West Indies are in favor of this proposal and the Chief Executive Officer of England himself presented this proposal in the ICC meeting.

It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post. The series was suggested.

A clear majority is required for its approval at the ICC meeting, after which the proposal can be presented to the board.
