In Jhelum, a speeding passenger bus hit the vehicle of 24 News. Producer of "Jurm Benqab" Zawar Khan was martyred in the accident, while 7 employees of 24 News including senior producer were injured who were given medical aid in Jhelum.

 

The body of Shaheed Zawar Khan has been shifted to his residence in Lahore. Funeral prayers will be offered at Afghan Park Lahore at 10:00 pm.


 The injured include senior producer Mohammad Rafiul Zaman, associate producer Mohammad Ismail, cameraman Naveed Ahmed, Jafar Bhatti, Danish, control room engineer Manzoor and driver Arshad.

Injured employees of City News Network say that while speeding while crossing the gate, a speeding Hino bus coming from behind hit him. When he saw Shaheed Zawar, his head was cracked.

An FIR has been registered on the notice of IG Motorway, while DPO Jhelum Rana Tahir said that the owners of the vehicles have been reached and the incompetent driver who escaped will be arrested soon.

The body of Shaheed Zawar Khan has been shifted to his residence in Lahore. His funeral prayers will be offered at 10 pm at Afghan Park, Sant Nagar, Lahore.
