British High Commissioner to Islamabad Christian Turner and US Secretary of State Angela Eagler called on Federal Finance Minister Muftah Ismail and called for further improvement in bilateral economic relations.

According to the report of APP, Federal Minister for Finance Muftah Ismail in a meeting with British High Commissioner Christian Turner said that Pakistan and Britain have a long historical relationship and the expansion of relations will benefit both the countries equally.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Finance, the Federal Minister of Finance warmly welcomed the British High Commissioner, who was accompanied by Annabelle Gary, Head of the UK Development Team, and discussed issues of mutual interest.
