The United Opposition welcomed the Supreme Court suo motu notice on the political situation after the rolling of the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly and demanded the formation of a full court to hear the case.

The joint statement of the united opposition said that Imran Niazi today has openly rebelled against the country and the constitution, the punishment of which is enshrined in Article 6 of the constitution.

The statement said that today is the darkest day in the history of the country in which rebellion against the constitution, democracy, law and political ethics has taken place.
The United Opposition on Sunday strongly condemned the unconstitutional and non-parliamentary actions and attitudes of all government groups, including the Speaker, and termed them unconstitutional.
The statement said that the united opposition has proved its clear majority in the house and it has also become clear that the opposition has a clear majority of the members of the house.
He said that the united opposition thanked all the conscientious objectors to the constitution, the people and democracy and the constitution, the people friendly members and paid tribute to their spirit.
The joint statement said that they appreciated the move of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court to take notice of the situation.

He said that in view of the serious constitutional crisis facing the country and the nation, he welcomed the immediate action taken by the Chief Justice and his brother judges and the issuance of short order.
He said that the united opposition and the 220 million people of Pakistan were hopeful that the Supreme Court of Pakistan would stand by the constitution and rule on the crisis created by the unconstitutional measures in a fair, just and constitutional manner.
The United Opposition in a joint statement demanded that the full court of the Supreme Court hear the unconstitutional and unconstitutional measures taken by the government in today session of the National Assembly.
Earlier, Chief Justice Omar Atabandial had taken suo motu notice of the situation arising out of the rejection of the no-confidence motion in the National Assembly without a vote.
A three-member bench comprising Justices Ijaz-ul-Ahsan and Muhammad Ali Mazhar, headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Omar Ata Bandial, heard the case and remarked that all orders of the Prime Minister and the President would be subject to final decision of the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court restrained the state officials from taking any extra-constitutional action and said that peace should prevail among the political parties and no extra-constitutional action should be taken.
The court issued a notice to the Secretary of Defense informing him of the law and order situation in the country, while rejecting the petition of the Deputy Speaker to suspend his rolling motion, the Attorney General issued connotations.
Later, the Supreme Court decided to constitute a larger bench on its own notice.
