Pakistan beat Australia by 6 wickets in the second ODI thanks to a fine innings by captain Babar Azam.

Australia scored 348 for eight in the second ODI thanks to Travis Head aggressive innings and Ben McDermott century.

After Fakhr-e-Zaman fifties, Imam-ul-Haq and Babar Azam centuries helped them to chase their biggest target in the history of ODI cricket.

"I enjoyed every minute of his innings, but it is a pity that this innings was played against us," Australian batsman Marin LeBushin told reporters in Lahore after the match.

He said that it was a very good innings, I will try to improve my game by watching Babar Azam.

He said that he hardly played a wrong shot during the 73-ball century innings, it was a great innings.

On the occasion, the right-handed batsman also praised Imam-ul-Haq and said that Babar Azam would have to get out early in the third ODI to win the series.

"I think if we can get them out early, we can put some pressure on the middle and lower order batsmen and in that case we have a chance to win," he said.

"It was Babar who got us out of the match with his excellent batting and it was a great innings," he said.

For Australia, Ben McDermott scored the first international century of his career while Labushin scored 59 runs.

"We grew up playing together in Australia, they were at my house every other day, they would come to my house by train and we would play in the backyard of our house," said the 27-year-old batsman, happy with his childhood friend's century. Were
