According to the Saudi Gazette, the official media reported that the moon of Shawwal did not appear in Saudi Arabia on Saturday and there will be 30 days of Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr will be on Monday, May 2.


According to the report, the observatory of Tameer or Houta Sadir University did not see the Shawwal moon.


According to the Saudi Press Agency, the Supreme Court said that "the Supreme Court stated that these reports are being received from the courts on the basis of the evidence of experts in the field that the moon of Shawwal has not been seen."


The Supreme Court said, "That is why it has been decided that according to the Umm Al-Qara calendar, Sunday 30 Ramadan will be 1443 AH, the last fast will be on May 1 and Eid-ul-Fitr will be on May 2."


The statement said that the Supreme Court congratulated the Custodians of the Two Holy Mosques, the Crown Prince and the people of Saudi Arabia and all Muslims on Eid-ul-Fitr.


It should be noted that Ramadan 1443 AH in Saudi Arabia started on April 2.

The report said that the moon of Ramadan was seen in Hota Sadir, in addition to the evidence of the sighting of the moon in the Saudi city of Tamir.


April 3 was the first day in Pakistan a day later, announced by the Central Route Hilal Committee.
