He said, however, that after the last season revenue, the board now has reserves of Rs 15 billion, which the board termed as "extremely strong financial condition".
He said that the next PSL tournament would be played in four cities Karachi, Lahore, Multan and Rawalpindi.

Further details on the PCB financial position are expected to emerge early next week, but a spokesman said the PCB was not in a position to disclose the gross profit from the franchises.
The PCB is not considering raising the pensions of retired cricketers this year, despite the improved financial position, whose pensions were last increased in 2019.
It may be recalled that for the first time this year PSL competitions were held in Pakistan, the first phase was completed in Karachi and the second and final phase was completed at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
PSL 2022 was held 2 years after the complications caused by Code-19.
