Most of the projects in China are amazing and now once again something is going to happen there that in other countries of the world does not seem possible at the moment.

Chinese company Baidu and technology startup Pony.ai have announced the launch of a service in Beijing that will not require humans to operate or, say, driveless vehicles.
Both companies have also received permission from the government for the Robo Taxi Ride Sharing Service, which does not require a driver to drive the vehicle.
Keep in mind that the two companies will not be partners but will work separately from each other.
The service was launched in Beijing on April 28 and allowed passengers to call daily taxis through the company apps.
Currently each company has an area of 23 square miles and they are instructed to have an operator in the passenger seat who can handle the vehicle in case of any emergency.
Baidu is better known as a search engine, but it is doing a lot of work on automated vehicles.
According to Baidu, the program has been launched with 10 vehicles and 30 more will be added soon.
On the other hand, Pony.ai says that 300,000 Beijing residents can be part of this experience
There is a lot of work being done on self-driving vehicles in China, and experiments for a ride-sharing service have been going on for some time.
Baidu also provided automated vehicle service as a pilot program in various cities, but people were seated in the driver seat.
Now no one is being put in the driver seat.
