Addressing a press conference along with Federal Minister for Law Nazir Tarar in Lahore, the Home Minister said that the entire Muslim Ummah is deeply saddened over the incident of Masjid-e-Nabawi. There is less space.
The Home Minister said that the blind people desecrated the holy place due to political stubbornness. Some people had said a day before that such an incident would take place there.

"We considered these statements to be political rhetoric. We could not believe that a person could have gone so far as to take political obstinacy to these holy places," he said.
He said that the implications of this incident were found not only in Pakistan but also in London. People in Pakistan were incited for this work. And a group from the United Kingdom arrived there and there they carried out an act which hurt the feelings of the entire Muslim Ummah and especially the citizens of Pakistan.
He said that the government was not in favor of taking part in any legal action against the incident but if the sentiments of the people were hurt and they wanted to file cases then the government would not put any obstacle in this regard.
The Home Minister said that if one faith has been harmed, he can seek help from institutions following legal avenues, adding that there are clear instructions from the government to take action on merit in accordance with the law.

He said that one of the arrested persons had himself confessed that we had done all this to him, he had not even come to offer prayers and we had stopped him from coming to the Prophet Mosque.
Rana Sanaullah said that even during his rule Imran Khan has tried to use Islam for his political interests in various ways.
It may be recalled that a case was registered in Faisalabad against Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and his delegation after chanting slogans in Masjid-e-Nabawi recently.
Penalties in the registered case are Section 295 of the Penal Code of Pakistan (intentionally damaging or desecrating a place of worship of a religion), 295A (intentional and malicious acts aimed at any religion or sect of any class). Incitement to insult religious beliefs (296 (disturbing religious gatherings) and 109 (encouraging wrongdoing) are included.

PTI central leaders and associates Fawad Chaudhry, Shahbaz Gill, Qasim Soori, Sahibzada Jahangir, Anil Mussarat and former interior minister Sheikh Rashid and his nephew Sheikh in the case filed by ordinary citizen Muhammad Naeem in Faisalabad. Rashid Shafiq was also nominated.
The complainant alleged that the incident at Masjid-e-Nabawi was a deliberate scheme and conspiracy.

He said that those who are facing charges should come forward and present their case in accordance with the law.
The lawsuit does not include blasphemy provisions, Prime Minister Nazir Tarar said
Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Nazir Tarar said that the registration of cases is a provincial matter, it is a very sad and disturbing incident which took place in our holiest place.

Expressing legal views on the case registered against the Masjid-e-Nabawi incident, the Law Minister said that these clauses have been placed in both the Penal Code of Pakistan and the Pakistan Penal Code as well as sections 3 and 4 of the Pakistan Penal Code. Sections 180 to 188 of the Criminal Code state that if a Pakistani commits an act outside Pakistan which is a crime under Pakistani law, action can be taken against him in Pakistan as well.
He asserted that his confession had been obtained through torture, and that his confession had been obtained through torture. Injury cases are registered.
He said that these provisions are not limited to Islamic places only, cases related to all religions have been registered under these provisions.
He said that there were clear guidelines in this regard that no one should be abused, cases should be handled on the basis of law, justice and merit which would be ensured.
