ISLAMABAD: The federal government has started making arrangements after the PTI announced protests and sit-ins.
According to details, on the issue of PTI announcing protests and sit-ins, the federal government has started arrangements to deal with protests and sit-ins.
Sources said that the Home Ministry had sought funds for law and order in the protests and sit-ins. In this regard, the Home Ministry has sent two separate summaries to the ECC for funding.
Sources said that Rs 18 crore has been demanded for the purchase of cameras including maintaining law and order in the protests and sit-ins.
According to sources, Rs 140 million has been demanded for maintaining law and order in protests and sit-ins and Rs 39.3 million for purchase of surveillance cameras.
Sources said that funds have been sought in view of the protest and sit-in announcement of a political party.
Yesterday, PTI Chairman Imran Khan, while announcing to go to the Supreme Court against NAB rules, had said that the imported government has committed a crime greater than bombing the country by amending NAB.
