Social media platforms Facebook and Instagram have started deleting abortion posts, saying such posts are against pharmaceutical policies.
Following the Supreme Court's annulment of a case on Friday, social media users have offered to send abortion pills to people who have been or will soon be denied access to abortion.
However, various reports said that posts related to such offers of consumers are being removed.
An experimental Facebook post about a foreign news agency reporter's offer to send abortion pills was removed within a minute. Similarly, a reporter from another media organization faced the same result where his experimental post was deleted within 2 minutes.
Posts related to the sale of arms or marijuana, as gifts and transfers of arms may not be posted under the same section of the Meta Restricted Goods Policy.
However, Facebook did not remove the experimental posts from foreign agencies and media outlets that offered hashish or weapons.

Reacting to the issue, company spokesman Andy Stone tweeted: "Content that attempts to buy, sell, trade, donate or gift any drug is not permitted."
He said that posts containing information about the cheapness and accessibility of prescription drugs were allowed while the company was correcting examples of "misapplication".
Meta did not respond to questions for comment on the implementation of the policy and its contradictions.
A few days after the abortion decision was annulled, social media has become an important tool in highlighting the available abortion resources.
However, the same moderate decisions of social media companies have deprived some of the major resource providers of their right to platforms, especially when they have a special need.
The account of the website 'Abortion Finder', which provides health care to patients, was removed from Instagram on Sunday.
