A 28-year-old unmarried man from Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province (KP) has filed a lawsuit against his father for not getting married.
Mahmudullah, a 28-year-old resident of Hangu district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, filed a case against his 68-year-old father Moin Gul for not getting married despite repeated pleas.
According to the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), Mahmudullah had lodged a complaint with the police that he had repeatedly asked his father to marry him to avoid any guilt, but his words were not being heard.
The son filed a case against the father without any provision and complained to the police that he had asked his father to get his son married.
According to the son, boys of his age have got married and his age is also married and he wants to get married to avoid sin but his father does not listen to his request.
After the son lodged a complaint, the police blocked the police station and asked the reason for not getting the son married, to which the father declared the son disobedient.

The father recorded a statement to the police that his son was irresponsible and disobedient, which is why he did not want to ruin someone else's daughter's life.
According to the father, it is his duty to get his son married, but since his son is irresponsible, he does not want to ruin another person's daughter's life, so he is not getting his son married.
The father told the police that he had tried his best to get his son a government job on a tube well but the son was harassing him along with his friends and had even staged a kidnapping drama.
According to the father, his son is very disobedient, he keeps harassing him and if his son gets better and obedient, he will get her married in a month.
According to the police, after the father's statement, the son has promised to get better within a month, on which the father also consoled him for marriage.
