Pakistan set a 276-run target for the West Indies in the second match of the three-match ODI series.
In the match being played at Multan International Cricket Stadium, Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first and scored 275 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the stipulated 50 overs.
For Pakistan, captain Babar Azam once again played a brilliant game and scored 77 runs.
Young batsman Imam-ul-Haq also continued his strong form and performance of the last match and remained prominent by scoring 72 runs in the match played in his hometown.
Besides, Khushdal Shah and Shadab Khan scored 22 and 22 runs respectively.
Pakistani opener Fakhruzzaman was dismissed for 17 and wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan for 15.

Aqeel Hussain took 3 wickets for West Indies while Alzari Joseph and Anderson Phillip took 2 wickets each.
It may be recalled that in the first match of the series played two days ago, Pakistan successfully achieved a mountain-like target of 306 runs and defeated West Indies by 5 wickets.
The Pakistan team includes captain Babar Azam, Fakhr Zaman, Imam-ul-Haq, Mohammad Dhawan, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Haris, Khushdal Shah and Mohammad Nawaz.

Besides, Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf and Muhammad Wasim are also part of the national team.
The West Indies squad includes captains Nicholas Pooran, Shay Hope, Kyle Meyers, Samurai Brooks, Brendan King, Roman Powell, Romario Shepherd, Akil Hussain, Alzari Joseph, Hayden Walsh and Anderson Phillip.
The third and final match of the three-match ODI series between the two teams will be played on June 12.
It is to be noted that the said series was part of West Indies tour of Pakistan in December 2021, however, the series was postponed after 5 cases of Code-19 came to light by mutual consent of Pakistan and West Indies.

In addition, the West Indies have agreed to a series of 3 T20 matches in early 2023, the schedule of which will be announced later.
The ODI series between Pakistan and West Indies is part of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Super League. These matches in the ICC League have World Cup qualifiers status.
The top seven teams will qualify directly for the 2023 World Cup, while the Indian team has already made it to the hosts.
The mega event of 50 overs matches will be played in October / November next year.
