Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan assured Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif in a telephone conversation that he stood by Pakistan in difficult times.
According to the report of Radio Pakistan, during the conversation, the Turkish President prayed for the flood victims in Balochistan where 57 people have been killed so far during the monsoon rains.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif congratulated the Turkish people on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha on behalf of the government and the people of Pakistan while Erdogan also congratulated on Eid-ul-Adha.
According to the state broadcaster, during the talks, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif mentioned his recent visit to Turkey and the great hospitality of his delegation.
The two leaders discussed enhancing cooperation to address the global energy and food crisis, including regional and international peace and security issues.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that he was looking forward to President Erdogan's reception at the 7th meeting of the High Level Strategic Cooperation Council to be held in Pakistan in September 2022.
He said that the visit of Turkish President to Pakistan would open new avenues and would further deepen the trade and investment ties between the two brotherly countries.

Earlier, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, while congratulating the Eid, said, "Happy Eid-ul-Adha to all Muslims, including Pakistanis abroad. This holy day is a message of self-sacrifice, sacrifice and obedience to God Almighty. Help the Muslim Ummah to the needy and deserving." We have to play a collective role.
